I’ve been thinking about whether or not it would be appropriate to put carefully selected advertising and affiliate links on a blog written by and for kids. Please share your opinions on this subject!

I think you need to be careful here because of the message you may be sending the young blogger. If the focus is educational or recreational the blogger could lose focus and be distracted by the monetization of the blog.
